a few weeks' drawings

I've had this handful of drawings idly sitting around my house for a few weeks, but didn't get around to editing and posting them until last night. I purchased a much larger sketchbook to keep some variety in my drawings' scale, but it's a little big for me to tow to work and scan so I have to figure out alternative methods of getting the images on my computer. Most of these were taken with my D60 and photochopped.



In attempt to get out of the habit of only drawing cats, ghosts, and .tiffs, I tried some weird alternate subject matters like hair helmets and blog-o-worms which didn't turn out too badly. My colleague DJChall requested a drawing of a Sad Space Giraffe which was quite a hit with some of my coworkers, and I added another Link .tiff á la Phantom Hourglass to my ongoing (I hope) Dreaming in Videogame Land series. Finally, in tandem to my "Year of the Ox" Photo-quilt pieces, I've been trying to draw tiny .tiff moments at the beginning of each month, the March one shown above.
