In case you missed my many exclamations of jubilation across twitter, delicious, face-twitter-book etc., last week the Daft Punk drumkit by Nadjle is a glimpse of what I anticipate will become a quintessential feature of whatever a "Web 3.0" keyboard will be. Can you imagine how much more work you'd get done if your WPM powered a beat-synced version of Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger in the background? I mean, I'd get a lot more work done, especially if it was additionally accompanied by this rad 80's drum set.
But those are both old news when it comes to the net. Right now I'm getting my long johns in a total twist over a slow-creeping trend of hip-hop/videogame mash-ups, which are so much fun. It all started when Bohemian Gamer posted this terrific Jay-Z feat. Phoenix Wright track, but currently reached its peak for me when Matty2Fatty showed me this full album of classic hip-hop tracks over samples from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time soundtrack which you can listen to below (click the forward button to skip around the tracks, there are 10 total!):
I'm in heaven, can you tell?

This is another mixtape titled Ocarina of Rhyme. It was created by a Richmond artist named Sleaze. It is also avaliable for download at:

Yeah, I've seen this link re-posted to on every site that's featured the Ocarina of Rhyme, but frankly I haven't heard whether it's any good or not.
So do tell, is it any good?

I think you should download it and listen to it. If you can listen and post about Team Teamwork(dumb name by the way) you can also do the same for Sleaze.
Point Blank Period........

I could, and maybe I will, but being a meanie about the other artists' name doesn't really show great character now does it?
I think Team Teamwork is a swell name, and they've made some really fresh stuff! I'll check out Sleaze in due time.

Wow this is pretty sweet! Aesop Rock - No Jumper Cables is so effin dope! Slim Thug - Still Tippin is a mind blowingly smooth mix too. Here's a really cool song you might enjoy

Not so much a mashup but still very awesome if your a FF 7 fan!

When I clicked on the link for the Jay-Z feat. Phoenix Wright track, it shows that it doesn't exist. Man, I wish I heard it earlier, since as a big fan of the Phoenix Wright/Gyakuten Saiban game series, I can't resist not hearing that track. Other than that, listening to those makes me wanna learn more about making mashups and remixes, but currently, I am stuck learning my brass drums rudiments, and learning sheet music.
By the way Wilthaniel, speaking of FFVII, I've found Mega Ran's cover album entitled "Black Materia : Final Fantasy VII" totally awesome!
