I'm not one to frequent the food channels, but I've caught a few minutes of Paula Deen's cooking show over my Mom's shoulder before. One thing is clear, Paula has absolutely no shame in her super fatty, high caloric, cooking. So when she's showcasing a 4lb measuring cup of clarified butter for her butter poached lobster shooters, you can see the butter-colored halo of excitement engulf her.
Did you watch that video? That's a lot of butter. So much butter that I decided to blog about it, but this wasn't the post I was originally thinking of:

[this is good] Wow...
"Now, you don't want to overdo it with the butter... because you don't want to make yourself sick."
HAH!

[this is good] This woman is insane. She uses butter like normal people use water. I think the boiling process infused the lobster's circulatory system with butter.
BUTTER!

[this is good] Good God, that is an insane amount of butter.
I mean, seriously, this video seems like some sort of parody of a cooking show. Five pounds of butter? Really? That alone seemed like overdoing it, but then when she started pouring butter into the shot glasses...Don't overdo the butter, indeed.
That being said, I think the video + your rough draft of the blog post would have been great!

I'm about to choke on my tongue too, y'all, but for apparently the exact opposite reason.
ObGamesReference: All I can think of watching this is:
Butter butter butter joins the bowl
We're making us a cake that you never seen before
Heat up the oven, now we're on a roll
Cheap cheap cheap's the name of my soul

I am a lover of butter, but Paula makes me feel downright strange about how gluttonous human beings can be. How is she even a fit mother, making such unhealthy food for her boys? And hocking this way of life to impressionable new moms like me?
Tsk, tsk.

[this is good] "Now, you don't want to overdo it with the butter... because you don't want to make yourself sick." - that made me laugh. This woman is really insane. She uses butter like normal people use water. Greetings from Holland
