Maya Plisetskaya, the lady responsible for the delightful custom painted Monkey Island Converses has done it again! This time she's captured cut scenes from another LucasArts favorite, Day of the Tentacle, in full color and detail on another set of high-tops. The only thing missing, in my opinion, is a painted cameo of my favorite Edison family member Cousin Ted. If your pockets are overflowing with Euros you can pick up these babies on Ebay for €250, but for now I'll just have to drool in admiration for those mighty fine custom kicks.
Found on Rock, Paper, Shotgun. Thanks Shamous!
These might just be the coolest things ever.

Preeeeety much. She's an excellent painter... I wish she would just do paintings of some of the cut scenes! I would totally buy them!

If she makes some Grim Fandango shoes I'm sold. D:

Hi Tiff, I've been following your blog since you first appeared on CO-OP and I have to say I'm enjoying it, keep up the great work!
My sister sent me the link to this today and it reminded me of the shoes, so I thought I'd post it up:

Hi John! Thanks for the kind words.
Also... uh, those Amigurumies are ... GREAT. And I WANT one. And I will probably have to post about them now, so thanks! :)

John! I made my first Offworld post with this link. Thank you so much!

Hi Tiff!
You are totally welcome, I'm glad I passed on something cool that you hadn't already seen. My pleasure. I'll have to checkout your Offworld site when I get home as it's on the filter list for work... (It's 11:23am in South Australia!)

Classic game, classic art. So much of the 3D gaming landscape with their unstylised pursuit of realism has left such beautiful gaming artwork in the past.
By the way Tiff just found your blog, like it :)

Yeah thanks again! Through some more searching I also found a really adorable Max (of Sam and Max) amigurumi which I also posted about.
Also, *sweet*! You live in South Australia :)

Yeah, DOTT was one of my favorites, for sure. I grew up with adventure games and it makes me sad that there are few modern games that are the same.
Glad you found it, and welcome!
