All the rain in San Francisco these past few weeks has given me cabin fever, or at least a good excuse to sit in bed and download a surplus of games on my consoles. Sunday was WiiWare/Virtual Console madness day, in which I purchased and played Muscle March, LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias, as well as ye olde Golden Axe and Streets of Rage.
Next stop, downloadable games from the Xbox 360. In addition to the charity DLC, courtesy of The Behemoth (they extended their charity run through to this Friday, January 29th), after watching the trailer teaser for Soul by Kydos Studios, I'm really digging the creepy vibe. I haven't played a horror game in a while, let alone one that involves a soul traveling through hellish mazes to get to heaven. Sounds like a winner to me, and it's only 80 points! I'll let you know how things turn out.

I want to play it! When can I invite myself over?

I should have a mini game party at my place, and set up a bunch of fun games to play. THAT SOUNDS FUN! Still need to get Rock Band though... (my roommates destroyed all of my copies by accident)

Ug... I tried the demo of Soul and it just pissed me off with cheap scares no better than the scary maze game.

That's a shame to hear... it looked like a decent game :/

Well, not to completely slam it. The game itself actually wasn't that bad from what I played. But from what I could tell it would just toss in some instant random scare, which I didn't like and was why I stopped playing.
