Game modder Dives shaped up and modded a map from Left 4 Dead to resemble one of my favorite Disneyland rides, the Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye. The map is fairly accurate (you can download it here), including most of the memorable details of both the ride and the temple while thankfully omitting the more unmemorable details like the people who wait in line at Disneyland.
Altogether it's pretty impressive, though I did think the ride could have been a bit bumpier. I wonder if Dives collected all of the assets for the map himself or borrowed some from other Disney enthusiasts? How many times does one have to ride a ride in order to make a mod of it?

P.S. Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! I haven't been posting too much lately as my brother shamelessly reminded me. Been too busy playing Deadly Premonition (still) and working. I'll try and post more this week!
Awesome. I remember riding this ride right after it opened. My little brother was too short haha.

Hehe, yeah. I was a total Indiana Jones/Disney dork and closely followed all of the behind-the-scenes stuff about the ride until it debuted. Space Mountain is still my favorite, but Indiana Jones is pretty fun too!

More like how long does a person wait in line before they decide its better to just play though this instead of going on the actual line. Glad you're posting again.

This is an impressive feat. Did they use actual photos for textures? Where did they get the audio? I want to read a lengthy dev diary about the creation of this map. Please inform if more details come to light. Thaaaaaaaaaaanks!
